Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Arrive at Cairo airport and transfer to your hotel. Meet tour
coordinator for welcome briefing.
Overnight: Cairo
Day 2: Cairo Tour (B)
After breakfast, you will begin
your full day sightseeing tour of Cairo. First we will visit Giza Plateau,
located in the west bank of Nile, facing Cairo. Cheops, Chepren and Mycerinus are the
three pyramids we will see in this plateau and their
guardian Sphinx, the lion body human head mythical
statue. Later we will visit the world famous Egyptian
Museum. The museum that houses the largest Egyptian
collection with more than 250.000 antiques extending
over the past 5000 years. Return to our hotel.
Overnight: Cairo
Day 3: Cairo – Luxor (B, L, D)
Early morning you will be transferred to
Cairo
airport for your flight to
Luxor.
Upon arrival you will be
guided to
embark to your Nile Cruise ship and
have lunch on board. After lunch we will begin our tour
in the enchanted Luxor, considered the greatest open air
museum in the world. We will cross the river to the
eastern bank of Nile to see the temple of Karnak and
Luxor. After tour we will return to the ship for dinner
and overnight.
Overnight: Nile Cruise / Luxor
Day 4: Luxor – Edfu (B, L, D)
Breakfast on board. In the morning visit the West
bank - Valley of
the Kings, the
Temple
of Queen Hatshepsut
and
the Colossi of Memnon. We’ll
sail to Edfu, have lunch on board and will have free
time at leisure. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 5: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan (B ,L, D)
Today we will visit the Edfu Temple, located in the west
bank of Nile and dedicated to god Horus, the falcon god.
Then we’ll sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple that was
built in Ptolemaic Roman era for the worship of god
Haroeris and Sobek, the crocodile god. We’ll sail to
Aswan for dinner and overnight.
Day 6:
Aswan
(B, L, D)
After breakfast we will visit the remarkable Aswan Dam,
considered as one of the outstanding architectural
achievements of the 20th Century. Then we will visit the
Philae Temple, which
was dedicated to goddess Isis.
Lunch on board and sail on
the Nile by Feluccas for the view of Elephantine island
(or Kitchener’s island), view from boat. Dinner
and overnight on board.
Day 7: Aswan – (optional Abu Simbel) – Cairo (B)
After breakfast we will disembark and will be
transferred to
Aswan
Airport.
Here you may take the flight to Cairo or take the
optional tour to Abu Simbel to see the magnificent
temples of Ramses II and Nefertiti. (Abu Simbel
excursion is via flight and after you return
Aswan you’ll have free time in
Aswan until your flight to Cairo in the evening)
If you take the flight to
Cairo
in the morning, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and
will have free time in the afternoon. Overnight:
Cairo
Day 8: Cairo (B) - Optional daily tour to Alexandria
Today is free for your leisure. You
can take a daily tour to Alexandria,
second biggest city and the largest
port
of Egypt.
Here you can visit the El Montazah Gardens, National
Museum, Alexandria Library and enjoy panoramic view of
fort Qaitbay. Another option is to stay in
Cairo
and take optional half day tour to Khan Khalili Bazaar,
the most famous bazaar of
Egypt
built in 14th century. The market has a medieval
atmosphere and is famous for its unusual, typically
oriental souvenirs, and handmade crafts.

Day 9: Cairo (B) - Amman
Transfer to airport for flight to
Jordan. Arrive at
Queen
Alia
Airport in Amman,
you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 10: Jerash - Ajloun – Um
Qais- Amman (B)
Today we
will visit Jerash, the best preserved and largest
Greco-Roman city in Jordan; we’ll stroll the stately
colonnaded streets past the theater, the baths, the hill
top temple and the triumphal arch. Then we will continue
to Ajloun; here we will see the medieval
Castle of Ajloun
which was built by Muslims against crusader invasions.
After visiting Um Qais we will return to our hotel.

Amman
Day 11: Amman – Madaba - Mount
Nebo – Wadi Rum –
Petra
(B)
After breakfast, you will begin
your tour in
Amman. You’ll visit the
Archaeological museum, Roman Amphitheater, and the
Citadel. Then drive along the King’s Highway, the
ancient Silk Road
to your first stop Madaba, famous with its Byzantine
mosaics. You will visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St.
George to see the earliest surviving original map of the
Holy land in a mosaic floor dating to 560
A.D. Then your driver will take you to
Mount
Nebo, one of the most important holy
sites in
Jordan, known as the
site of the tomb of Moses. You will continue to Wadi
Rum, the magnificent vast desert with its sandstone
mountains also known as Valley of the Moon. The
landscape of Wadi Rum, with its immensity, color and
awe-inspiring shapes, creates an almost supernatural
atmosphere. It was the setting for the film Lawrence of
Arabia as most of our guests would recall. You will
explore the area in 4 X 4 vehicles for 2 hours and after
watching the sunset drive to Petra for overnight.
Day 12: Petra – Dead Sea (B)
Breakfast and tour to the
Red Rose City Petra, built by the Nabateans who settled
Jordan 2000 years ago- desert rock carved monumental
tombs, palaces, temples and the treasury which was
starred in Indiana Jones. Your guide will give you a
briefing about whole City of Petra while you are walking through the 1.2 km
canyon to reach the magnificent treasury. Part of the
way back is on horseback; drive back to
Dead Sea for overnight. Overnight: Dead Sea
Day 13: Departure (B)
Transfer to Amman airport for flight back home. Thank you for
