Itinerary

Day 1 Friday: Arrival in Marrakech (D)

Greeting at Marrakech Menara airport, assistance & transfer to your hotel in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight. Overnight: Marrakech

Day 2 Saturday: Marrakech / Kasbah Telouet / Kasbah Ait Benhadou / Ourzazate (220 km) (B, D)

Departure by land rover to Ouarzazate via the mountains of the high Atlas passing through the Tich’n’Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 m, via Telouet, the scenery is absolutely stunning. Visit of the Kasbah of Telouet, former residence of the Glaoui family, one of the most influential families of this region. Optional Lunch, and visit of Kasbah Ait Benhado. This kasbah is the most famous one in Morocco and has served as setting for many famous movies. The Kasbah is now a UNESCO protected monument, continuation and Short visit of Ouarzazate including the Kasbah of Taourirt. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 3 Sunday: Ouarzazate / Zagora (200 km) (B,D)

After breakfast departure to Taznakth, famous for its Berber carpets, then continuation southwards to Agdz where we join again the road Ouarzazate-Zagora. From Agdz to Zagora the road is dotted with palm groves and numerous Kasbahs, most of which are falling in ruins, but some are still worth a visit. Lunch at own expenses. Dinner and accommodation in Merzouga, under desert tents.

Day 4 Monday:  Zagora / Marrakesh (370 km) (B, D)

After breakfast, back to Ouarzazate following the same road till Agdz and then through the mountains of the Anti Atlas. Stop at noon in Ouarzazate, lunch at own expenses. Heading on to Marrakesh via the national road crossing the Tizn Tichka Pass. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 5 Tuesday: Marrakech / Departure (B)

Transfer to the airport of Marrakesh, assistance with departure formalities.
