Day 1: Arrive Athens
Arrive at Athens airport and
transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Half Day Athens City
Tour (B)
After breakfast
transfer to terminal to join your group. This tour gives
you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts
that make Athens such a fascinating city.
Our expert guides take you
to see the center of the city.
Constitution Square (Syntagma),
the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown
Soldier and the National Library.
Driving down Herod Atticus
Street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque
uniform and the Presidential Palace.
On your way to the acropolis
you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, visit the Temple of
Olympian Zeus and you will make a short stop at the
Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the
modern era were held in 1896.
On the Acropolis visit the
architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens:
the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erectheion
and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”,
the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the
Parthenon. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 3: Corinth Canal -
Olympia

Today we start our four days
classical tour. Leave by the Coastal Road to the
Corinth
Canal
(short stop ) drive on and visit the Theatre of
Epidaurus famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then
proceed to the Town of Nauplion
(short stop ) and then drive to
Mycenae
and visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of
Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central
Peloponnase and the Towns of Tripolis and Megalepolis.
Dinner and overnight in
Olympia, The Cradle of the
Olympic Games.
Overnight: Olympia
Day 4: Delphi (B, D)
In the morning we will visit the
Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympion
Zeus., The Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological
Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and
Achoio until the magnificent bridge which is crossing
the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the
picturesque Towns of Nafpactos (Leponto), and Itea,
arrive in Delphi.
Dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Delphi
Day 5: Delphi - Kalambaka (B,
D)
Visit the
archaeological site, and, the
museum of Delphi.
Depart for Kalambaka via Central Greece (short stop by
Lamia). Overnight stay in Kalambaka (a small town built
at the foot of the majestic grey rocks and crowned by
the Meteora Monasteries)
Overnight: Kalambaka
Day 6: Meteora - Athens (B)
Leave in the morning for
nearby Meteora to visit the Byzantine Monasteries.
Return to Athens passing the heroic monument of Leonidas
at Thermopylae. Arrive in Athens early in the evening.
Overnight: Athens
Day 7: Athens Departure
Morning transfer to Athens
Hellinikon International airport for departure. Thank
you for visiting Greece.
