Helnan Chellah Hotel,
the first hotel in Rabat and was named "Chellah
Hotel" similar to the famous Chellah historical
monuments there. It is located in the down town
area, few minutes from the historical ancient
monuments city attractions and shopping centers.
The hotel was totally renovated and upgraded by its
present owning and managing company " Helnan
International Hotels", to become one of the first
class hotels among its competitors at Rabat city.
Hotel Chellah was built in 1973 in the center of
Rabat the capital of Morocco. Rabat city being the
most active area with approximately one million
inhabitants representing the government’s main
offices, ministries and Embassies. The hotel is
within only ten minutes walk to the Royal Palace,
railway station, the city’s commercial center,
Mohamed 5th Street which is the main commercial and
shopping area and in front of the main office for
radio and television, museum and 15 km from Rabat

the city center, 2 km from train main station, 10 km
from Rabat airport and 85 km (45 min.) from
Casablanca International airport. The archeology
museum is in front of the hotel, also you can find
the Golf Royal "Dar Elsalam" 10 km away from the
hotel.
