Saturday Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca (D)
You will be greeted upon your
arrival at Mohammad V airport in Casablanca and will be escorted to your hotel.
Our tour guide will deliver your vouchers and will
provide brief review of your tour.

Day 2: Casablanca-Rabat (B, D) – 95km
After breakfast, we will
have a half-day sightseeing tour of
Casablanca, the economic capital of
Morocco. We will visit
Hassan II Mosque (outside) - the largest mosque
outside Mecca, the Mohammad V square, Royal Palace and Habous district and the residential area of Anfa. We
will have our (optional) lunch in one of the fish
restaurants located at seafront. After lunch we will
follow the Barbary Coast to the imperial city of
Rabat; the administrative capital
city of the Kingdom. We will see Mechouar (ramparts and
walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the fortified Oudaya Kasbah, the marvelous
Mohamed V mausoleum and
Hassan
Tower. We will check-in to our hotel in
Rabat
for dinner and overnight. Overnight:

Day 3: Rabat-Meknes- Fez (B, D)
– 220km Morning
depart to the second imperial city,
Meknes, which was the capital
city under the reign of Moulay Ismail (1672-1727). This
city is famous for its 40 km long city walls that
preserve the most beautiful gate of
Morocco, Bab Al Mansour.
We will also visit the Royal Stables which housed up to
12,000 horses of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Later we will
continue to Fes via the holy city of
Moulay Idriss where the founder of the Islam
in
Morocco
is buried; this town is famous for its green rooftops
and offers one of the most picturesque views of Moroccan
town life. On our way to Fez,
we will also visit the roman city of
Volubilis. Volubilis features the
best preserved excavations in this part of northern
Africa dating from the Roman Empire.
In 1997 the site was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage
list. Later we will arrive to Fez and check-in to our
hotel. Overnight: Fez
Day 4: Fez (B, D)
After
breakfast, we will begin our full day sightseeing tour
of Fez, the most ancient city of the Imperials, founded
by Idris I (789) and his son Moulay Idris II (810). We
will visit the medieval
Medina
with its Medersas (religious Islamic universities)
Attarine and Bou Anania, the Nejjarine fountain, the
Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. After
our (optional) local lunch we will continue to Fez Jdid
(new Fez), and return to our
hotel. Overnight:

Day 5: Fez / Beni Mellal
/ Marrakech (B, D) – 485km
After breakfast, we will
depart to Marrakech passing by the Berber village of Immouzer du
Kandar and Ifrane and arrive
to Beni Mellal. It sits in the foot of
Mount Tassemit and is one of the agricultural centers of Morocco.
We will arrive to Marrakech late afternoon. Overnight:

Day 6: Marrakech (B, L)
After breakfast, we will
begin our full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech, the
second largest city in Morocco
also known as the pearl of south. Today we will visit
the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the
Bahia Palace and Koutoubia. Minaret. Afternoon we will visit
the Djemaa El Fna square, which by day is a market place
but at night is a place of non-stop entertainment; this
area is great for bargain hunt in the souks and
handicraft shops of Marrakech. Overnight: Marrakech Optional: Fantasia Dinner
(Today Lunch is included in package price instead
of Dinner)
Day 7 Friday: Marrakech (B, D)
Check-out after breakfast; you’ll have 3 free days in
Marrakech before you begin the second part of your Big
tour. You’ll be transferred to Atlas Asni where you’ll
spend your next 3 nights.
Day at leisure. Overnight: Marrakech
Day 8 Saturday: Marrakech (B, D)
Free day to explore this Mystical city on your own.

Day 9 Sunday: Marrakech (B, D)

Day 10 Monday: Marrakech / Ourzazate/ Zagora (375 km) (B, D)
Today you’ll meet your new guide/group to continue your adventure in
Morocco.
Departure by land rover to Ouarzazate via the
mountains of the high Atlas passing through the
Tich’n’Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 m. Lunch in
Ouarzazate and continue to Zagora via the mountains of
the Anti-Atlas.
From Agdz, the track road is taken leading through numerous villages and
palm groves along the Drâa river.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Overnight: Zagora
Day 11 Tuesday: Zagora/ Erfoud/ Merzouga (250 km) (B,D)
Excursion to Tamegroute, visit of the famous library containing old books
and documents dating from the
12th century. Visit of the sand dunes of Tinfou. Departure to Erfoud,
partly by track road and partly by normal road, through
Tansikht and Nkob where splendid sceneries of
presaharian desert dotted with Berber villages, and of
the Sargho mountain massive follow each other
perpetually. Stop at Tazzarine, small Berber village,
for lunch. Afternoon, continue to Erfoud via the
villages of Alnif and Rissani, birthplace of the present
Alaouites Dynasty. Dinner and accommodation at Auberge
Tombouctou In Merzouga.
Overnight: Merzouga
(Optional accommodation at a desert camp in a
tent, should be booked in advance)
Day 12 Wednesday: Merzouga/ Erfoud/ Dades (250 km) (B,D)
Early
morning, excursion to see the sunrise over the sand
dunes of Merzouga, Back to the Auberge for breakfast and
continue to the Tinghir Oasis via Erfoud. Tinghir is
famous for its magnificent Todghra canyons which rocks
reach an altitude of 250 meters. Excursion to the
canyons and possibility for a short hike. Lunch at a
restaurant situated at the feet of the canyons. Continue
to Boulmane where we enter the Dades canyons for a visit
. Dinner and
overnight at the hotel in Dades.

Day 13: Thursday: Dades / Ourzazate (150 km) (B,D)
Departure to EL Kelâa via the road
of the thousand Kasbahs from where
we take again the track road to the
village
of Skoura.
On the way, we pass the beautiful kasbah of Amerhidel.
The track road continue till Ouarzazate following the
feet of the Atlas mountains.
Dinner and accommodation in Ouarzazate.
Overnight: Ouarzazate
Day 14 Friday: Ourzazate
/ Marrakesh (200 km) (B, L)
Short visit of Ouarzazate
including the kasbah of Taourirt and continue to Aït
Benhaddhou. This kasbah is the most famous one in Morocco
and has served as decor for many great movies. The
Kasbah is actually under UNESCO protection. Continuation
to Telouet by a track road which is one of the most
difficult parts of this tour. We are crossing two river
beds and are climbing the Atlas
mountains. The scenery is stunning. Visit of
the Kasbah of Telouet, former residence of the Glaoui
family, one of the most influential families of this
region, lunch on the way. Via the Tich’N’tichka pass,
continue to Marrakech for overnight.
Day 15 Saturday: Marrakech / Departure (B)
Transfer to the
airport of Marrakesh,
assistance with departure formalities.
